Life changer.
Not everybody's first choice for a minivan but a true life changer. Only way to go in north central MN. The extra confidence in snow and ice is amazing.

Terrible in rain
I’d had these for 10,000 miles on an 2007 Silverado and they’ve been great except for driving in the rain. They’re borderline dangerous in rain. Stopping distance is terrible and I can’t breath on the gas pedal without them breaking loose. I about got in an accident this morning because they wouldn’t grip to save their lives while making a turn from a stop sign into traffic. This last winter was a mild one for my area, and they did fine in snow, hoping they do ok in heavier snow this upcoming winter. Overall there’s no chance I’ll buy these again, it’s like driving on ice skates in the rain.

Excellent tire. It's quiet for typical highway driving at speeds. It rides smooth like the factory offerings. Traction on highway has been good, even on wet roads. Offroad it does everything I need it to do. It also balances out nice, as far as the road feel. I did favor the Nitto Grappler G2's, but they are discontinued, so I chose these as a replacement. So far I am more happy with these. Much quieter and smoother than the G2's, and they are balanced. I have a 2wd Ram 1500. I kayak fish, so I needed something to handle off pavement driving, but I'm not looking to stick my truck in the bogs of the way-back. Just some sand and gravel and occasional boat ramps, and so far they are great. I've only had them for 4 or 5 months, and I've made several 500+ mile trips. So far so good. I'll probably buy another set for my work truck.

NICE A/T TIRE
GREAT LOOKING TIRE AND A SMOOTH QUIET RIDE FOR AN A/T TO BOOT.

Great tires
Was worried about the other reviews about noise but these are way quieter then my factory tires. Overall better driving experience. Haven’t driven in rain or snow yet but I’m not worried.

Great all around Michigan tire
3 months and so far a great tire. Installed a 285 series on our 22 4 runner and can say they are quiet, smooth, not over heavy so fuel economy has not taken a huge hit and for the off road use which is not mud bogging or anthing to extreme these are great. You can air these down to 15psi with no issue as well. Good combo if you are about 70% on road and 30% off road as in our case. We have not taken them in snow yet but should be no issue. The 4 runner is a beast in those conditions and I expect these tires to be an asset. Seem to balance well if you have experienced guys installing as well.

Only a month in use, but great performance so far, no loud road noise, smooth ride.

to noisy - very dissapointing
I bought them 4 month agoe and have done 2000 miles on them since with driving on tarmac gravel and rocky terrain. They handle ver well in all situations that I have tested (I havent tried them in wet Ice or snow). one major set back is that they are are very noisy on asphalt, to the point that I am seriously considering replacing them. Sorry but I can recomend such a noisy tire.
gil, we're sorry to read that you are experiencing noise from your tires. Our team will be in touch to get more information and help with a solution.

ROAD NOISE
We purchased these tires for our Yukon …… the snow traction has been good all around traction fine ……BUT THE ROAD NOISE IS JUST LOUD i have tried different pressure in the tires and also rotate religiously every 5thousand miles so idk we have balanced the wheels twice as well. I recommend this tire For traction but beware if f road noise
Mcm0317, sorry you are experiencing a noise complaint. Noise is most commonly due to an uneven or irregular wear pattern that has developed on the tires. We suggest that you have the tires inspected by an authorized retailer (preferably the selling dealer). Have the dealer contact us while you are there so that we can get more info.
