Do not buy these tire! Do your homework. They are junk.

I bought four in 2019. There were serviced/rotated in 2021. Tires have less than 40,000 miles on them. Two of them have major cracks on the sidewall. I have been given every excuse possible by several service centers. "Torque fracture from too much power". I drive a truck, not a Tesla. "Cracks happen when you carry too much weight". This is not a work truck -- I use it for camping and take public transportation to work. "You didn't rotate the tires enough - that caused the cracks". Did I mention the tires have less than 40K on them and are not even four years old? "You need an alignment" This wasn't mentioned to me when I brought them in for my last rotation. One tire disintegrated on the highway and cost me $400 in towing. I cannot get any dealer or Michelin to stand by its product other than offer a $50 credit towards four new ties. Do not buy Ko2's, find a company that stands by its product. "Improved stronger sidewalls, 50K warrantee" Don't believe the marketing hype.

Long history.

Just purchased my umpteenth set of ALL-TERRAIN T/A® KO2’s for my wife’s Cherokee Trailhawk. I have had KO2’s on all my Jeeps since they were first on the market. I have had great success with them. Look great, ride and handle all the Midwest weather has to offer.

Off road king

Bought in October 2023. Smooth ride and saved me from getting stuck while off roading in 2ft of snow. Highly recommend

8 Year Performance Review

I’ve now had my KO2 for about 8 years and this is my first review of them. My vehicle is a H2 Hummer and I’m running 37x12.5x17 on the stock rims at stock ride height. These tires have worn really well as far as tread depth, I have about 60k miles on them and could easily do 10-15k more if it were not for the cracking in between all of the sidewall tread blocks. Technically the tires are at the age of being replaced regardless of tread left but they have had small cracks between treads even when only 3 years old. Somewhat disappointed in the amount of cracking over their life. As for performance they ride fantastic, have been quiet from new to now, they are, to the contrary of other reviewers the best wet weather tire I have ever used, no hints of hydroplaning ever they just stick to the ground no matter what. My tires are early KO2s with the winter snowflake rating, they have performed exceptional in the snow but are happy to break lose if asked.  They work fantastic in deep sand aired down, sure footed crossing deep water (~3ft), and do not hold tons of gravel. They are horrible in mud however, the KO1s were much the same but I would almost contend these are even worse in mud than the originals. The cost has exploded, I use discount tire to purchase my tires and even with the certifications they sell I originally purchased these for $1,400 otd, today to replace my current set 1:1 is now $1,900. Another issue I have with them is that they are tiny, these are not true 37s, measuring on the vehicle they are about 34.8 inches, off the vehicle about 35.6 inches, these tires should have been sold as 35s as they look tiny on my stock vehicle. With all that said, I would absolutely run these tires again they fit 95% of my use cases, they ride well on the road, they look great white letters out and they have worn very well. I will however likely be replacing them with something larger and more inexpensive in the coming months.

NCH2, we're sorry to read of the cracking and we'd be interested in learning more about it. Have your retailer call us at 866-866-6605 with an inspection of the tires while you are there. Additionally, the overall diameter is determined by mounting the tire on the appropriate rim width as identified by T&RA or ETRTO, then inflated to 1.8 bar (26 psi). A calibrated measurement tape is run around the circumference of the tire in the center of the tread (which represents the largest overall diameter). This measurement of circumference is then divided by the mathematical constant known as PI (3.14126...) to calculate the diameter.

I bought these K02 tires last month for my Wrangler and wow!! They look great and improved the handling characteristics. I was concerned about the price but I can promise you they’re worth every penny. Thank you to the Discount tire Team that recommended them.

Best A/T on the market!

These are the best all terrain tire on the market! As long as they are on a jeep, 1/2ton, mid size or smaller. Not the right application for a heavy 3/4ton or bigger unless you can afford to replace them yearly.

Excellent longevity and ride, handling etc.

These tires have been on my 2009 JKUR for just shy of 8 years, nearly 38,000 miles, and the tread still looks new. I live in the northernmost Sierra Nevada mountains, get a lot of rain, a little bit of snow, and 105-110°+ in the summers. Aside from around town and a whole bunch of logging and forest roads, I'm taking it on mini camping trips to the desert, to the Klamath mountains, and I camped my way up Highway 1 from Eureka to the Olympic peninsula. I've also driven it to Blaine Washington and back a few times on the highway. Also a lot of highway driving down to the southern part of the Central Coast of California and both on and off-road and at Oceano Beach down in that area many times. I have occasionally towed a 12 ft x 6 ft cargo trailer with two Harley-Davidsons or a Harley-Davidson and a Triumph down to Santa Maria and back which is an 850 mi round trip, (and Interstate 5 has absolutely horrible craters in the lanes, particularly the right lane where I'm usually located when towing). I've also towed a few different military trailers with either cargo, camping gear, or sometimes a flatbed military trailer with a single motorcycle. I've been in the habit with my past few vehicles of purchasing six wheels and tires and I do six wheel rotations and rotate them approximately every 5,000 mi. I run LT35x12.50-17R on AEV Pintler wheels on my 4.5" lifted Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited and during the listed mileage I've been running ARB Old Man Emu Sport shocks and Metalcloak true dual rate coil springs on a primarily Synergy equipped short arm system and a Dynatrac Pro Rock 44U front axle housing with RCV axles and Reid Bros. steering knuckles and Timken unit bearings, Ten Factory rear axles and CJ Tatton double cardan drive shafts. I looked at some of the one star ratings on here and read with their road, and I don't understand how they wore their tires out so quickly. Both the sidewalls and the tread on all of my tires look absolutely excellent. Being as how these are E rated tires and the OEM tires are C rated tires, I run approximately 26 psi on the street. If I'm towing a trailer, particularly if it's somewhat heavy, I bring the rear tires up to 28 or 29PSI, maybe 30 at the max. And occasionally I'll bump the front tires up a couple of pounds as well.
