Great all season tires

The BEST Tires
I have been a long time user of All-Terrain T/A's because they are simply the best tires. I actually take my pickups and SUV's off-road and flats and tire failures are not an option. I have never had an issue with the many sets of All-Terrain T/A's that I've bought over the years. These KO3's, so far, are no exception. I've got about 3K miles on this set and they are just as good, if not better, than ever. They are just as at home on the highway as they are on a mountain trail. Driving in downtown Austin or up the panhandle hunting whitetails, they are stable and tough and they look pretty good, too.

KO2 was better
I really do not like these new all terrains offered by BFG. The ko3 tires are almost brand new and losing traction on dry pavement, something I've never experienced with the ko2 tires. I had two or three sets of ko2 on this truck prior to being phased to the ko3 and everything I loved about the tire and brand is gone. The stability and planted feeling on pavement is gone, it now feels like im riding on the center of the tires if that makes sense. Wet handling seems to be a bit slippier than ko2 version. The appearance is probably the biggest thing im upset about because I like the rugged look of the ko2 and BFG just did not capture it, the tires look rounded to me where as the BFG were good at looking flat and appealing with the tread pattern being the ultimate reason I purchased them in the first place.
Garrett, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires haven't met your expectations, especially regarding on‑road stability, wet and dry traction, and overall appearance. BFGoodrich designs its off-road tires with tighter beads to prevent unseating. This is critical especially when tires are aired down for off-roading. Because of this feature, problems might arise if the tires aren’t seated properly. We recommend visiting an authorized tire dealer to ensure proper installation and setup. If you have any questions or would like to explore replacement options under our Promise Plan, please don’t hesitate to contact our Consumer Care team at 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST). Great Tires For a Year, Then Severe Wear and Noisy
I purchased the KO3 from Discount Tire in April 2024 to be mounted on my 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. Tires rotated every 5 - 8,000 miles and front end alignment check every year. November of of 2025 the tires got noisy on a trip. The fronts were cupping, Rotated tires, and l was quiet for a couple months then the front got noisy again. They are also cupping. Front end components are solid. I was happy with these tires performance and wear until now. And this kind of aligns with the reviews I have read in the past.
Thank you for sharing your experience and for providing detailed maintenance history. We’re glad to hear you were satisfied with the All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires performance initially, but we’re sorry to learn about the noise and cupping you’ve experienced. We recommend visiting an authorized tire dealer to inspect the tires and determine whether they may qualify for warranty consideration. Please have the dealer contact us directly while you are there so we can assist further. Our number is 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

Best ever
Best a/t tires on the market!! 1st set of ko3, always have been my favorite brand of tires!!

A Great Tire that needs a Good Tire Shop to install
Simply put, most all of the 1 star reviews seem to be from people with newly mounted tires that have balance issues. A good tire shop familiar with BFG's and 8-12 ply tires is a must. These need a good quality Paste (lots of it) when mounting to ensure a bead seal and also road force balance (without rushing thru it because they are a trying to max the number of tires sold that day). I spent quite a while in the shop waiting and watching the install, but it was worth it. That said, all Tire Companies sometimes have an imperfect one come off the line, but in that very rare situation a good shop will spot it and stop the install and order a replacement (not put it on anyway knowing it was not right). I have had no issues with mine at any speed and I love the grip, low road noise and overall feel of these tires. Plus, they look super cool ! Very happy with my choice and confident they will last for years.

Look great, balance poorly, wet weather performance still not great
Issues with 315/70R17 F rated tires I recently got: 1. Cosmetically, there's quite a bit of flash on 3/4 tires. Not something I notice typically, but it's bad which makes me question manufacturing of these. 2. 2/4 tires took over 10oz of weights to balance. My previous KO2s on the same rims took less than 4oz. 3. Even with road force balancing, they still vibrate more than my KO2s. 4. Road noise is similar to KO2s. 5. Wet traction is why I bought these and they seem barely any better than the KO2s they replaced, which were pretty bad in wet/slush/ice. 6. They did great in the snow. Swapping them out for D rated ones in a few days. Hopefully that solves the balancing issue. Guess I'll just deal with subpar wet performance.
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback on the All‑Terrain T/A KO3 tires. We’re glad to hear they performed well in snow, but we’re sorry to learn about the balancing and vibration issues. BFGoodrich designs its off‑road tires with tighter beads to help prevent unseating, especially when aired down for off‑road use. Because of this, proper and uniform bead seating is critical, as a tire can appear installed correctly while not being fully seated evenly on the wheel. An authorized tire dealer can verify this and ensure the tires are mounted and balanced correctly. Purchased at right time
Love these tires. Got me though the snow and mud.

Good looks, but a lot of vibrations at highway speed.
The good: quiet, good looking tire. No issues with steering. Can tell much heavier than a typical highway tire when accelerating or stopping which is expected. The bad: gave the tire shop 2 tries to balance. Vibrations at anything over 60 mph. Paid extra for road force. High road force numbers in the 30s and 40s and a bunch of weight on each rim. Returned and went with another tire.
Brad, thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the quiet ride and appearance of the All‑Terrain T/A KO3 tires, but we’re sorry to learn about the vibration and balancing issues you experienced. BFGoodrich designs its off-road tires with tighter beads to prevent unseating. This is critical especially when tires are aired down for off-roading. Because of this, vibration can occur if the tire is not seated uniformly on the wheel, even if it appears properly installed.
