Review Summary
The tires offer excellent off-road performance and traction, especially on rocks and challenging terrain. They provide strong grip, durability, and the ability to handle various off-road conditions. However, some users note the tires can be noisy and wear down quickly on paved roads, making them better suited for dedicated off-road use rather than daily driving.

Simply Incredible Tires!
I have run quite a few different tire brands off road, as well as the full line of BFG tires and I am stuck on the Krawlers! I had KM2’s on my last Jeep and absolutely loved them for their off road performance as well as street manners but have always wanted to run the Krawlers. I bought the 39” Krawlers last year and have been beyond impressed! They performed flawlessly on the Rubicon Trail, gripped like glue in Moab, and performed amazingly in the Tennessee mud and rocks of Pennsylvania. They perform very well on the road as well, albeit with the standard mud tire roar, but they have not gotten louder over time like a couple of other brands I have had. The only recommendation I have is that you rotate them every oil change to keep the wear even, especially if you wheel hard. When aired down to 7-10 psi on the trail, they simply wrap around the rocks and provide a ridiculous amount of traction. I love the rubber compound as well and hope they don’t change it. On lines where other’s tires are spinning and not gripping at all, I usually have much better traction. If they do start spinning, they heat up very quickly and the traction definitely gets better. My only hope is that BFG keeps them going on the production line because I had to wait for months on two occasions because they were out of production or concentrating on other tire production. I will probably order another set soon in case they are on hold again. Anyway, these are a “must buy” tire if you are looking for a serious off road tire!
Thanks for the awesome review Neon. BFGoodrich customers ROCK!

Absolute best tire I have ...
Absolute best tire I have ever used offroad. Allowed lines to be driven that I didn't think were possible in my vehicle.

My vehicle is built ...
My vehicle is built primarily to run the Johnson Valley, Ca "Hammers" trails, but also sees use on dirt, clay and sand. While it isn't fantastic in the sand, all other uses are absolutely better than any tire I've ever run. In the rocks, these things stick really well. If I have any complaint it would be lateral traction on loose dirt or sand. These are 35/13.5r15, so the width may be an issue for lateral traction?? I do not drive on the street at all, so I can't comment on road manners.

One of the best off road ...
One of the best off road focused tires I have ever run. Great balance of off road performance with great wear characteristics for road use.

I have had the Krawlers ...
I have had the Krawlers for about 10 months on an off road only vehicle. They are now the ONLY tire I will run after schooling most of my wheeling buddies(except the ones who have the same tires).

The Krawler is a great ...
The Krawler is a great tire. I run a set of 35" krawers on a built Grand Cheorkee. Cruises great down the interstate and are awesome on the rocks. Next set of tires will be an upgrade to the 37"s

These tires are arguably ...
These tires are arguably the best tires made for offroad use. They offer unbeatable traction on rocks and hold their own on all other surfaces.

They were better than ...
They were better than expected off road and on rocks. They have very good street manners for a capable offroad tire. I was happy with the purchase.

These are the best off road tires that I have ever used. They have good forward bite and work really good in off camber situations. They work really good on the rocks and in the mud. I prefer the rocks, but the mud is always there.
