A wise decision to choose these tires
I bought the tires for my 4Runner, turn out to be awesome under all the conditions that I have driven through, dry, rain, snow, ice. they just make me feel really solid on all the roads with all weather, highly recommend and would choose again when my other vehicle needs new tires.

Great tires
I chose the Trail-Terrain BFGs because they were as close to “off-road” as I could find without a lot of lug noise. They handle well for highway travel - smooth and quiet. On rough gravel roads they have good traction and control. I haven’t been in any mud yet so can’t comment on that. So far, about 10,000km and no noticeable wear. They look good and I would recommend them for most pickup trucks.

Need bigger sizes like 295/65/r20
Tires are great light duty tires. Giving a 3 star because they don’t offer a bigger sizes like 295/65/r20 for my truck. The tires seem like they would be a great lighter duty option for my truck. I tried the KO3’s and the highway ride is not great. The trail terrains look great but ride much better. We became fans after putting a set on my wifes’s 4Runner.
We appreciate you sharing your experience across different vehicles! We’re glad to hear you’ve had a good experience with the Trail-Terrain T/A tires. Totally get the frustration about size options. We’ll pass your input along to our product team for future consideration.

Great Truck Tires!
I bought these all-season tires for my F-150 and I've driven about 10,000 km so far, including last winter. They are very quiet and provide a smooth ride on the highway. They also provide great traction and handling around corners in the rain and snow. They are good quality tires and they look good on my truck.

Could be good on SUV, no good on full size pickup. Unstable but confortable
Cons : Feel wrong on a 2019 Ram 1500 Crew Cab 6.4’ box. Swirly tire, follow every road imperfection, unstable, makes the steering soft and non precise even the XL version. The truck steers left or right during hard braking depending on the road. I bought it only two days ago and I already regret my choice, Pros : incredibly quiet, great road cracks absorbtion. I should have stayed with the LT tire I’ve been using for the last 12 years, first time with BF and unfortunately the last one. I hope these tire wears fast and to change them quickly.

Good Tires
Tires have been good so far. Real test will be the winter.

Quiet, decent mileage, great for mild off road applications
I bought a set of these in 2022 for my old F150 and loved them. I maintained decent fuel mileage with them, and they handled quite well on mild off road applications and in winter weather. The only reason I don't have these tires right now is that I bought a new truck and am waiting until it's time to replace the existing tires so I can get a fresh set of Trail Terrains!

Great tires!
Only had the trail terrains on my vehicle for a short time but they have already seen a lot of action. First day on we had a snow storm and they handled the snow, slush, and ice no problem! Had them on the highway and they run smooth and quiet. Haven’t had them on long enough to comment about wear or fuel economy with them but I’m sure they should do fine. Overall impressed with them so far.

Absolutely the best tires I have ever purchased!
I have had these tires on through everything now, heavy rainfall on the west coast, mud and grass in the prairies and up to Grand Prairie in fall. The recent heavy snowfall around central Alberta and down the ice QE2 at -25 celcious .UNBELIEVABLE TRACTION. No road noise, I ran over debris on The road and . figured will need to change a flat right away, nothing no tears and just kept on rolling. Best tires I have ever had. I am selling my Nokian winter tires as no need for them now.

It's an upgrade
Changes in tires always cause some changes in ride and performance. In my case I increased the tire 3 sizes. I lost 1mpg and gained the best ride. Improved handling and stopping distance. These are on a none lifted JK. I am not afraid to take them on a good Jeep trail.
JD Jk guy, thanks for sharing your experience with the Trail-Terrain T/A. We appreciate you! New tires having full tread depth will have more grip and rolling resistance in comparison to worn tires. As the new tires wear, the rolling resistance decreases. Over the life of the tires, all things being equal, the fuel efficiency should improve.
