Not that great
Hi All Tires are on a 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4. I've always had the original BFG Rugged Trail T/A's that came on the Tacoma originally and would get about 67k - 70k miles with them. I was happy with them - quiet on the road and served me well. I was up for tire replacement again and this time I couldn't buy the Rugged Trails anymore as they have been discontinued. The tire shop said these Trail-Terrains are the replacement. For some reason at about 60mph and higher they make vibration on the floor of the truck and through the seat - below 55mph is ok - 65mph vibration is still there and 70mph isn't as noticeable but still there. Have taken the truck back in to have the tires rebalanced - same problem still exists and is enough that I really don't want to endure this for the next 67k-70k miles, so I'm going to have them replaced. Tires have currently about 805 miles on them. It's like most things today....why keep something that works - lets change it and make something new. Really? If you can't make it better then don't change it. They look nice, I'll give them that and work ok below 55mph - over 55mph they aren't so great.
John68, sorry to read of the vibration issue. We'd suggest that you take the vehicle to your selling retailer (if possible) for an inspection of the tires. Please ask them to call us while you are there so that we can discuss their findings.

Dangerous wet/snow tire with no traction
5100 miles and the most dangerous tire for non dry conditions I've ever driven on. Had removed and replaced with KO3s. No traction on any wet or snowy weather conditions. Truck fishtailed all the time as this is a VERY dangerous tire.

Quiet and get good gas mileage.
Not good in wet weather. My truck fish tails on turns which never happened before with Goodyears. I’m 63 so I’m not driving like an idiot. Winter is coming so I hope their good in snow. Fine on dry surface.
Ko214, sorry to read of your wet weather complaint with the Trail Terrain T/A. We'd recommend to have the tires inspected by an authorized BFGoodrich retailer (preferably the selling dealer). Have the dealer contact us while you are there with their findings.

Excellent traction and overall performance
Bought them when they first came out. The stock tires on my Expedition had 15,000 miles on them looked brand new but were absolutely horrible dangerous on the wet roads and pretty much unacceptable on snow. The Trail Terrains were literally a game changer. Excellent on the wet stuff and life changing in the snow. The places 4x4 was nearly impossible on the stock tires these drove through in 2wd with near zero issues. Currently have 32,000 on them and still have excellent wet traction and snow performance. Definitely getting another set. They do have some hum to them on certain types of pavement but they haven’t gotten louder over the 30,000 miles. They stay balanced and smooth making highway performance quite good. Mileage impact over the lousy stock highway tires was maybe 1mpg or slightly less not as much as I had expected and definitely worth it for superior traction.

Couldn't be happier with these tires. Have them on a Grand Wagoneer and drove over 5 hours in a Blizzard through Quebec without a single issue. I'll never own an all wheel drive vehicle without them.

Quite and smooth performance
I purchased my new tires a month ago and they are quite and handle very well.

Wonderful Tires for Offroad
My Subaru Forester required tires for offroad, and we decided after a lot of shopping for this Trail Terrain tires. this past weekend we visited El Cielo Biosphere Reserve a 7,500 ft. mountains location altitude located in Gomez Farias Mexico, climb up rock dirty roads with severe storms it was incredible experience and the tires worked very well in wet conditions in our way down too.
