Do not buy these tire! Do your homework. They are junk.

I bought four in 2019. There were serviced/rotated in 2021. Tires have less than 40,000 miles on them. Two of them have major cracks on the sidewall. I have been given every excuse possible by several service centers. "Torque fracture from too much power". I drive a truck, not a Tesla. "Cracks happen when you carry too much weight". This is not a work truck -- I use it for camping and take public transportation to work. "You didn't rotate the tires enough - that caused the cracks". Did I mention the tires have less than 40K on them and are not even four years old? "You need an alignment" This wasn't mentioned to me when I brought them in for my last rotation. One tire disintegrated on the highway and cost me $400 in towing. I cannot get any dealer or Michelin to stand by its product other than offer a $50 credit towards four new ties. Do not buy Ko2's, find a company that stands by its product. "Improved stronger sidewalls, 50K warrantee" Don't believe the marketing hype.

Not Worth The Money--BFG Is Riding On A Past Reputation

Vehicle = 2019 JLUR with 3.6L, ZF8, & 5.13 Gearing Empty Weight = 5700 pounds Lift = 3.5" MC Game Changer Shocks = 2.5" Fox DSC Wheels = Icon Alpha; 17x8.5 with 0 offset/4.75" backspace Tire = BF Goodrich KO2 A/T Size = 37x12.50x17 Load Range = C Inflated diameter (Unloaded) = 35.75" (@31 PSI) Inflated diameter (Loaded) = 35.375" (@31 PSI) Tread Depth = 15/32" (0 miles) Tread Depth = 12/32" (35K miles) Maintenance = 5 tire rotation and balance every 5K miles (more frequent balancing needed as they wear) Experience: On-Road (Good--when new): - They will not stay balanced as they wear (at least not for long), more and more weight is needed to balance them and they do not stay balanced as long as other tires have. Rebalancing has been needed between rotations (Discount Tire - Road Force) - They begin to lose their grip in the rain and snow after about 20-25K miles. I had to drive from Denver to Colorado Springs during the last big snowstorm (speed was greatly reduced due to the conditions) and they are all over the place. They have a 3 peak snow rating, but as they wear effectiveness is reduced on the highway and they will slide in the rain much faster than other tires. - They are quiet; probably the quietest tire I have had except for Michelin LTX AT2's on my trucks. Off-road (Jack of all trades and master of none--except maybe powdery snow): - They work reasonably well in the snow, I have gone through really deep powdery snow and they handled it just fine. - Loose, deep dry sand will typically find you close to stuck more often than not, wet sand is managed reasonably well. - Thick clay based mud will find you stuck and flexing your winch muscles. The tread design does not clear sticky mud and you will find they become 4 slicks with zero grip in short order. - Watery mud is cleared reasonably well, but they are no match for a true M/T. - They handle rocks "ok", but they will slip and drag you out of your line on side angled inclines and declines. Noise = 10 (even after 35K miles) Wear = 9 (even with the weight of my JLUR) Ride = 7 (9 at first; 4 after 35K miles) Dry = 9 (even after 35K miles) Wet = 6 (7 new; 4 after 35K miles) Snow = 6 (8 off-road--even after 35K miles; 4 on-road after 35K miles) Mud = 4 (2 in clay/heavy mud; 5 in all other mud) Sand = 6 (4 in deep dry sand; 8 in wet sand) Trail = 6 (they can slip in rocks on inclines and declines) Look = 5 (nothing aggressive or sexy here) Overall = 6.8 Would I buy again? = No (as a jack of all trades and master of none (except noise and perhaps wear) they are too expensive for what you are getting) AND the balancing issue is unacceptable.

2 tires warrantied at 25k and 2 others wearing uneven

I bought a full set less than a year ago. I’m on the highway a lot for work, so I’ve put a good deal of mileage on them. They started out great, but they went downhill fast. 2 of the tires had to be warrantied out at less than 25k miles. Two others are wearing unevenly, causing heavy vibrations. Keep in mind, I do a five tire rotation every 5k miles and don’t drive harsh or aggressively. They just don’t have any longevity, especially for the price you pay for them. A friend of mine also has ko2s and said his are doing the exact same thing. It really turns me off to any BF Goodrich product because it seems like their QC is garbage.

Only 36,000 miles and they are done

I am on my fourth Rubicon. I have traditionally been happy with the performance of the tires however these K02’s are brutal. All four need replacement having worn completely and evenly at only 3 years, 36,000 miles. Don’t sit back and take it - write reviews and post to social….it is not right to advertise 50,000 miles and come up waaaay short.

Smooth, quiet, tough tire

Swapped the tires on my wife's 2022 lexus gx460. Went with the 275/60r18 and they look great. 15k miles in and they have handled everything so far. Florida summer pulling the boat, Tennessee winter icy roads, a few curbs. Ordering a set for my truck now.

This tire let me down. Buyer beware.

These tires (LT315/70R17 Tire, All-Terrain T/A KO2) have been a disappointment. I had them professionally installed by a BFG reseller on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and despite their rating I got approximately 30k miles of wear out of them. At about 25k I started to notice unexpected road noise and undue wear so I took them to my installer who verified my complaints and submitted measurements / photos to BFG. Despite falling well within the warranty range (time and mileage), BFG failed to provide any support and argued that I was ineligible because my tires were not OEM spec. Uh. Hello? Welcome to the aftermarket Jeep world. The best thing I can say about these tires is that they wore evenly and uniformly. I did not experience sidewall cracks or other compound failures. They just didn't last very long. I now find myself in the position of replacing these far sooner than planned and looking for tires from a competitor that actually stands by its product and its marketing.

ATLJeepster, we're sorry to read of this issue. I see that an offer of goodwill was made previously due to the tires having an irregular wear pattern. A member of the Consumer Care team will be in touch to get more information from you and the retailer.

Tim, sorry to read this. I'm confused. You said you purchased the tires in Dec of 2023. Please return to the retailer for an inspection of the tires and ask the dealer to call us with their findings while you are there. We will ensure there is a warranty claim initiated.

I recommend this tire

Great tires

I have them over 44k this set on my f150. I live near Detroit area. I love how good they handle on the winter. Great for any trip or adventure. My first set was in Jeep Greand Cherokee that tires last up to 80k miles. Hard to avoid this tires after 120k miles without any issue.
