Review Summary
The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing excellent traction and durability. While they can be noisier and less comfortable on the road compared to all-terrain tires, the trade-off is worth it for those prioritizing off-road capability. The tires also perform well in wet weather. Overall, they are widely regarded as a capable and reliable option for off-road use that can also handle daily driving needs.

Great, and I mean GREAT off road! A bit noisy on road but you should expect that.

In the 9 years I have used these tires, I have never had a flat

Liked the tread appearence, relative/surprising smooth ride

I have used the Mud ...
I have used the Mud Terrains on my old Jeep for years and have had very good luck with them. I put the KM2's on my Rubicon based on the experiences with the older Mud Terrains, and have not been disappointed. I do a lot of rock crawling in southern Arizona, and typically air down to 11#, and the tires have performed very well. I have a couple of small cuts in the surface of the sidewall, but they have taken serious abuse and still have gotten me to the end of the trail.

Tires have a great off ...
Tires have a great off road look without the loud noise that comes with most off road tires.tread life is also better by far than any other off road tire I have ever owned.i would recommend anyone that likes to go offroad and onroad without changing tires .This is a great tire.

i think its a good tire..im waiting for you guys to design an even more agressive tire like the irok

I currently use ...
I currently use 38-14.50-17 Km2 on a 2006 Dakota that is basically for offroad and love everything about these tires. Im also needing tires for my dually and BFG are the only mfg that has a 255-80-17 which is also Km2, a little more agressive than I prefer for my tow rig...

Still failry new to me. Only 1000 miles on them. Hard to rate wear yet. Very quiet on road. Handling not overly sensitive.

Overall the tires are ...
Overall the tires are great when used off road only. I went to Goodyears on my Rubicon because the KM2's were spooky on snowy roads in the winter. perhaps more siping would help. The KM2 are great in the rocks and showed good wear and they worked well in deep mud. If the BFG's worked well in the winter they would be considered a top all around tire but I don't have the luxury of towing my Jeep to the trailhead and they aren't the best on wet pavement.
