Review Summary
The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing excellent traction and durability. While they can be noisier and less comfortable on the road compared to all-terrain tires, the trade-off is worth it for those prioritizing off-road capability. The tires also perform well in wet weather. Overall, they are widely regarded as a capable and reliable option for off-road use that can also handle daily driving needs.

I like the BFG Mud ...
I like the BFG Mud Terrain KM2 better than teh original KM in most respects except lateral stbility in slippery off camber terrain.

Low road noise/character, great snow traction, great wear characteristics. Decent mud performance but not great (have not had a chance to lower the tire pressure yet). Overall a great all around tire.

These KM2's were put on a locked and long armed TJ 4.0 Sport. Took it for a trail ride in the snow with two wheel drive only. Later that same day took my 2005 Ford F-150 FX4 with 255/70 -17 Firestone Destinations AT's on same trail. The F-150 needed to be put in 4wd to climb the hills the Jeep made in 2wd with the KM2's. Great off Road Tire. The KM2's also have very low rolling resistence, so they should last a while properly inflated.

Awesome Tire. Not too noisy and great grip in rain and off road

Great all around tires
These are the best all around tires I have owned. I had the original KMs before these and I have to say the KM2s are actually a quieter ride and they perform better in the rain. They perform as good or better than the mud tires from another large manufacturer I have had in the past and at a better price!

Great tire both on and of
Great tire both on and off the road, excells in the the mud/rocks. A bit noisy on road, but that can be said for any tire with aggressive trad.

I was very impressed with the tires. The road manners were excellent, somewhat quiet, handle well for a mud terrain, decent wear. I was very impressed with the offroad capabilities this tire improved. only thing that could change is a little more aggressive sidewall pattern.

i really enjoy this tire for what i do it is very aggressive in most conditions except ice but overall i think anyone into the outdoors would really enjoy them

i picked up a set of ...
i picked up a set of 35X12.5X15 KM2's acouple years back. At first the tire drove quiet and nice on road (15 miles one way to work) but as they broke in and wore down a little more they started growling like the adverage mud tire. theres nothing adverage thou about how they perform offroad. these tires are great. my truck is a true offroad truck that sees everything from deep mud, rocks, to deeper snow. these tires always perform well and keep me going in when the trail gets gnarly.

Needs a raised rim ...
Needs a raised rim protector to help keep rocks and sticks out of the bead area. Needs to have the tread changed so the tire does not slide sideways when off camber.
