Review Summary
The tires provide excellent off-road traction on mud, rocks, and challenging terrain. They also handle well on the road, with some users noting they are quieter than other mud-terrain tires. However, there are concerns about uneven treadwear, with some needing replacement after 20,000 miles. The tires are also described as being on the pricier side.

Feels Quite a Bit Different from the KM2s
I used to have K2s before I got my 285X70R17 KM3s. Here are some differenced I have observed: The KM's are noticeable wider than the KM2s. I did not measure the width of my KM2s, but I had to cut the stops on the tailgate for the spare tire on my Jeep JK by about 3/8" for the tire to fit onto the spare tire holder. So I would say the KM3s I have are about 3/4" wider on the sidewall than the same size KM2s I replaced. This is not a complaint - I just thought I would share my observation. The KM3s feel "squishy" compared to the KM2s. I am running them at the same 37 psi as the KM2s. The "squishy" feeling is very noticeable on turns and the Jeep rolls much more than it used to. The steering response also seems to be diminished. When I make a sharp turn, there is a very brief, but noticeable delay in the vehicle responding, and when it does, it feels like it is grabs. The KM3s have a different noise than the KM2s. The KM3s have a higher pitched hum than the KM2s. This higher pitched hum is mildly annoying. I have read that the tires get noisier over time. Hopefully, the noise will not increase too much. I realize these tires are more intended for off-road use as opposed to highway or city driving. I have not tried them on the trail yet.

Disappointing, big expectations after having the KM2
Having KM3 tires on my Toyota Prado 90 (265/70/R16), after driving them for 12,000 (~) miles the tires "lost" few of pieces (pictures attached). After having 2 sets of KM2 in the past (which i was 100% satisfied) i was expecting MUCH more durability from those tires.

BEST TIRES EVER
I bought the BFG KM3 3 months ago and they are the best tires I have ever bought

great on/off road tires
Had these tires several times before, great wear average 50-55,000 miles. We travel full time in our motorhome and tow the jeep. We went all over Arches NP and desert then all over Big Bend off-road areas without any problems.

Great tire
I've had these tires for over a year on my Ram 2500 and I've been nothing but impressed. The ride is smooth, I run 37s and it's the quietest tire I've ran so far. I run a diesel and we get a lot of snow and cold weather and i havent had to put weight in box to keep traction, they grip great. My only complaint is the max tire pressure is 65psi and my Ram requires 85lbs so I have to ride around with my dummy light on.

I brought them there years ago they were fair.
jack . brough them there year for my Ford F150 our company does Plumbing work and we do 15000 - 25000 miles a year average and ties have proved to hold up very well I will gladly use their tie services again.

Rock crawling on road tire
I bought a set of tires 37's for the Rubicon (2x), Dusy Ershim, and Fordyce. I have an old Defender TDI about 4300lbs I used to drive them at 32psi but the wear on them to Dusy from SF robbbed the edge treads (sad) they are a soft compound. So i upped the PSI to 47-50, never had a problem on road in the summer (dry). Got a great amount of performance from them on the Granite, no punctures or side wall gouges over 80 old miles of rock crawling (6psi abused Lit momentum bumpin') and 12000mls of on road use. I highly recommend Driving these are a great compromise of crazy crawling, decent mudding, and highway reduced road noise.

Weak tire - punctured
Tire punctured right in the center of tread under normal off-road use.
AZ Pit Bull, it's unfortunate that a tire was punctured. You might check your purchase receipt to see if road hazard coverage was included.

I’ll buy them again.
Great tread life, really good in the mud, not bad it the snow, ok in the rain.

4 of 5 tires have been impossible to balance.
I bought 5x 37x12.50r17s and they have been on 2 different sets of wheels trying to get them to balance and they still take 15-20oz (yes oz, not piece) to balance on the machine and then still feel like they are egg shaped over 60mph. Currently on $400+ each KMC wheels, which I doubt are bad (also considering I tried them on a different set of wheels first). Less than 2k miles, wish I had stuck with my tried and true Trail Grapplers...
