Review Summary

The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing excellent traction and durability. While they can be noisier and less comfortable on the road compared to all-terrain tires, the trade-off is worth it for those prioritizing off-road capability. The tires also perform well in wet weather. Overall, they are widely regarded as a capable and reliable option for off-road use that can also handle daily driving needs.

Worst tires ever! They came standard on my 2021 Jeep Gladiator ( I should have written a review earlier ) They maybe lasted 20,000mi . I don't go off road'ing, do mostly suburban driving. Terrible. This review won't allow me to upload photos so you can see how bad they are!

Tread has seperated on 2 out of 4 tires

Thank god I wasn't pulling a load at 80mph. The belts just seperated one day while sitting in the driveway. The first one was quite visible as the entire top of the tire came apart and went flat.(belts just seperated) The second tire I didn't notice until I put the spare on and started driving to the tire store. It had ballooned and was just short of coming apart. The tires have less than 15K on them and they are coming apart. Problem is how to get the tire dealer to provide warranty on the other 2 tires since they have not bulged YET.(I can't trust them now that 2 out 4 have let go) I wish I could post pictures.

Poor quality

I bought my Jeep brand new which came with these tires. My Jeep has 28776 miles on it and two of the tires are almost completely bald with the other two with almost half the tread left.

David, sorry to read that 2 of your tires need to be replaced. Rotating the tires as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer helps ensure even wear. Have your local authorized BFGoodrich retailer contact us at 866-866-6605 with an inspection of the tires while you are there.

I recommend this tire

Great traction, sad to see them go.

Loved these tires and put them on multiple vehicles...really hope BFG brings them back so I can replace them one day. The km2’s have a classic look that works great on older classic trucks which the km3 can’t offer...please bring back!

Same Willy’s issue!!

I got my Gladiator Willy sport a year ago, and they have the mud terrained KM2s on them. I’ve had nothing but problems with vibration and noise, I’ve rotated them every 3000 miles and still issues. I talked to the dealership and nothing. I don’t know what to do. I’d love to upgrade to the KO2s, but why should it cost me two grand to do so?

Would not recommend this tire!

I came to the website looking for answers and I see that other people are having the same issues with these tires as I am. Extremely bad vibration and uneven wearing on the tread. The came on my Jeep MOAB and at highway speeds these wheels are deafening! You can't have a conversation, you can't use the hands-free phone option because people can't hear you, and you can't listen to the radio at a reasonable volume. I'm very disappointed with these tires. The only asset is that they look nice!

Best tires ever

I am on my second set of 35/12.50/17s and absolutely love them on my 99 Dodge 2500 diesel. They out perform the old K/Os never got more than 30000 miles with them. These K/M2s first set 40000 then they separated bad tire stir repair, current set over 50000 and still going. And that’s with towing a 40 ft toy-hauler for most of that time. Love them hope I can get them again.

Dry rot!

I’ve had a set of these 3-4 years now. They’re already dry rotted well before the tread is worn out! Insane, you spend $1000+ on tires and they don’t hold up!

Wear Life and Warranty

I have these on my daily driver. These were standard equipment for my vehicle right off the lot and it still has the original tires on it from the day of purchase. My off-roading is limited to my rural driveway. These are great tires and I have had them in the past on my last two SUVs. They have gotten me home in snow, slush, rain, and ice. So the performance is rated high. But the wear life is severely below average and doesn't meet their suggested warranty for normal use. If someone drives more than approximately 10,000 miles a year the cost of this performance comes at a very high price tag. I have 37,000 miles and they need to be replaced. All of the tread wear indicators are worn to the point that indicates they need to be replaced. After calling the warranty hotline and receiving their guidance on how to handle this produce concern. I have been trying to get someone, anyone, to work with me on a warranty claim. But, the local dealership, nor the local sales representatives at any of the surrounding tire shops are willing to go through the process. Everyone says it is a pointless exercise that only results in them looking like the bad guy. I have records to show I have had all of the routine rotations completed. But yet… still no takers. Is anyone else having similar issues? Can anyone help me or do I just need to move to alternate tire manufacturer?

Did not last

12k miles in my tire exploded on the freeway. I nearly slammed into the median.
