Review Summary
The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing excellent traction and durability. While they can be noisier and less comfortable on the road compared to all-terrain tires, the trade-off is worth it for those prioritizing off-road capability. The tires also perform well in wet weather. Overall, they are widely regarded as a capable and reliable option for off-road use that can also handle daily driving needs.

Great looks, great mistake.
My Jeep is still under 36,000 miles and has eaten through 2 sets of these tires. I thought the first set may have been a fluke or that it was a vehicle fault. Had a certified Jeep shop perform a full check on vehicle alignment and balance the wheels before putting on my second set. After the second set became so un-even and loud I had a separate shop look over the entire vehicle and they said that the vehicle is still spot on. Stupid me looking at the entire vehicle and spending money each time on that rather than looking at the obvious flaw, these tires. Expensive mistake, but lesson learned. The tires are very visually appealing, but it's just not worth the headache.
SparkyBadger, we're sorry the tires are wearing unevenly. We'd like to help. A member of our Consumer Care Team will be in touch via email. In the meantime, you are welcome to contact us at 866-866-6605.

Great looking tire
2018 Jeep Rubicon at 30k I have to replace all 5 tires uneven wear so noisy cannot listen to radio or really talk to each other in front seats if in back seat don't bother to try to talk to others in Jeep, rotated every 3000 miles with oil changes
Paul, thanks for the review. Sorry you experienced uneven wear. A member of our Consumer Care Team will be in touch with you, or you may call us at 866-866-6605.

BA
BA tires! From running around town to off road performance these tires are hard to beat. 30-40k miles, 01 F-150 4x4 supercab. KM2s

Disappointed
I have used these type of tires and specifically the BFG products for over 20 years and been very pleased with the tires durability and wear. Now that I am retired I don't put tires to the test like I once did but felt that the BFG product had proven itself so I continued to buy these tires. The set that I have now , or what's left of it has disappointed me terribly. The first tire self destructed at 11,000 miles and now a second tire at 12,000. The manfacturer hasn't been much help. I'm really disappointed as I am left with a damaged vehicle and 2 more potentially dangerous tires.

Tires are ok, website is poor - no info.
Impossible website. Tires are ok, will get them again, but lay out this website better.
Thanks for taking the time to submit a review, Greg.

Best tires I ever owned.
I have a Jeep Wrangler 2009 with about 112,000 miles. I went thru two sets of Goodyear Wrangler at 30,000 per set. These tires I am going on about 53,000 miles. They are low and will be replaced sometime this fall. Great tires. Worth spending more for a better tire. As far as noise or this or that. Hey I am a young 62, and like my kids say. Daddy you have selective hearing. These tires you can feel hugging the road.
That's awesome Michael! We appreciate your review, and your commitment to BFGoodrich tires!

My favorite tire I’ve ever owned, please bring it back.
I’m on my second set of the KM2 and I love the look and aggressive thread. I’ve owned numerous brands, both AT and MT including KO and KM1 and the KM2 west amazing, take my Jeep’s anywhere and look amazing with the white letters. Mine are up for replacement and I was very sad to find out the KM2 are discontinued and KM3 are not only getting complaints, but no longer have white letters available. In order to get white letters I have to buy a kit from a third party. Please bring back the KM2 or sell my 265/70/17 of the last ones you have because I don’t want to buy expensive tires and have to spend even more for letters that will eventually fall off
AZguy, thanks for your comments. We've forwarded them to our Marketing Division for consideration.

BFG Supporter for Life
I was lucky enough to get tire and Pit support from Dan Newsome and the gang at BFG more than 20 years ago when I Raced my own Class 8 Desert Truck in District races as an Independent Racer, while at the same time being a crew member of the Ford "Rough Rider" racing team. Tire Sponsorship made all the difference in the world at the time. I ran some of the first "Rambo" project tires and went a whole season with only a single flat tire, which led to many top ten overall finishes and a 2nd in points for the 1992 Season. Those days are long gone, but to this day, I have remained loyal to the brand and the only tires I have put, and will ever put on any of my Family and Business vehicles are BFG Tires!

wouldnt buy them again !
I bought these BF Goodrich Mud Terrains just under 2 years ago, I paid good $$ for them to. I don't drive more then 8 miles a day on average, and take a couple of 150 mile both ways, road trips in a year, I haven't put more than 7,000 miles on them, and they are already cupping and on the front and the back are starting to wear.

F250 superduty
This is my 4th set of BFG mud terrains first the 285 then 315, I would say ride has improved since the old style. mileage seems about the same. but after I had driven about 50 interstate miles with 10lbs of air and didnt even know it a few years ago without a blowout, I knew I didnt need any other tire brand.
