Review Summary
The tires excel in off-road conditions like mud, rocks, snow, and ice, providing excellent traction and durability. While they can be noisier and less comfortable on the road compared to all-terrain tires, the trade-off is worth it for those prioritizing off-road capability. The tires also perform well in wet weather. Overall, they are widely regarded as a capable and reliable option for off-road use that can also handle daily driving needs.

1995 jeep wrangler
Has to be the best off road tire with the best wear life on the market i have had the km2's on my jeep for a year and a half now and i drive it everyday and still have about 85% tread if not more. The wear life for me could be due to my light jeep but still no question the best off road tire on the market.

No complaints
I have about 50k on these and the back tires are getting pretty whooped. Tire performed better on the street than any all terrain tire I have ever had on my truck. Performs nicely offroad. There is road noise but the drone from my exhaust is louder. I though the tires can take a pretty good beating and still go. I only had a flat once with them and thats when a bolt got run over. Now that my back tires look like slicks they are starting to chip a little bit but still perform nice on road. I WILL BE BUYING THESE TIRES AGAIN!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Only thing I'm changing is going to a bigger size.
Have been a great tire. I have 30,000 miles and I'll probably get 10-15,000 more. Great in the mud no shocker. I had duratracs and only got 22,000 miles out of them. If you do your part and rotate them they will definitely last.

Shut up and take my money
I have a set of 245/75r16 on my 2012 Ford Escape AWD I do half off road and half on road from big bend national park to the job sight and on the highway these tires are fantastic I've had them for about 2 years now with 40,000 miles on them and they still have plenty of tred left and I'm hoping to get aloght more adventures out of them. Will definitely buy again. Just maybe after trying a set of KM2s first. Also have these on my 2003 ford ranger 4x4 (265/75r16)

just bought another set
Fantastic tire . Have a farm in North Florida, have used this tire on our "hunting" truck for 4 years. Lots of mud and creeks, have NEVER had a flat, or been stuck to the point that required more than the winch. Just bought a new set of these amazing tires for our new farm truck. I am sad to here these tires are being discontinued. Had to order from Miami, as no dealer in North Fl. could get them. Hope we are good to go for another 5-6 years.

excellent tire
this is an excellent tire. had over 45,000 miles before i had to replace them. its a fine balance to be a daily driver tire. road noise is a bit at highway speeds but i didn't get these for the highway. the off roading ability of these tires are unsurpassed. never even got a chance to air them down because they worked so well. if your looking for a daily driver tire with light four wheeling go with the all terrains, but if you do moderate four wheeling this is the best on the market. have these tires on a 2001 Chevy Z71 4X4 1500, custom 6inch lift, Whipple supercharged 5.3L. i run 315/75-16's. live in the desert and these work excellent for my terrain

These are the best truck tires
I have ran other brands on my truck and this is the second set of BFG's. I have stock sizes on my super duty and when I want to get anywhere in the desert these are great. Rocks and cactus are no problem as well as sand or mud. Great wearing tires and very tough! I got about 50k on the first set, probably 10k more than I should have. I have never had a flat on either set of tires. Rotate them, proper inflation, keep them balanced, and your front end aligned and they provide the best service you can ask for.

Reliable gear
Have already used them for 20,000 miles on a nissan pick up truck, both on road and off road in Greece; excellent performance on rocky Greek mountains (Pindos & Taigetos) and on mud terrain of hunting areas. Also very reliable in farm work, especially under heavy load conditions. For on road use, the noise starts after 95mph. My only concern is the use on icy roads, but it might be a result of my limited experience in driving on ice (no issue though with fresh snow up to 10inches).

KM2 Mud Terrains Kick Butt
Recently purchased 4 KM2 Mud Terrain tires 35X12.5. They were the replacement set for my BFG All Terrains, got 42,000 miles out of that set on my 2004 1500 Dodge Ram, also have an 83 Jeep CJ-5 running 32X11.5 BFG All Terrains. So got some experience with BFG products. The KM2'S were installed on a Thursday and Saterday my 16 year old and I headed out with our ATV and Dirt Bike loaded on a trailer with caming gear and all the essensials for a weekend of dirt riding. Bad rain headed out at 5:00 am in a driving rain, wipers on high about 50 miles into our journey rain stopped, tires were flawless on asphault under these conditions. Now the real test Checked in at ATV park, driving through very wet red clay mud loaded down with trailer, bikes, caming gear ect. in 4WD High, no slip or slide and this was some thick stuff after an all night monsoon! I will never buy anything but BFG tires ever again. Keep up the outstanding work!!! Thank You

Best MT for the Jeep
I love my KM2's! These are the quietest MT's that I have ever owned. The sidewalls have plenty of flex and have been extremely cut resistant. They are smooth handling on the road and good in snow too.
